Yardley Wood Community Primary School June – 2016
I was invited, once again, to work with the lovely pupils at Yardley Wood Community Primary School, Birmingham. This time we created a 100 x 2 ft foot long mosaic on external marine ply for the playground wall. The theme was Fantastic Flowers!!!
I worked with the entire school from Nursery & Reception to Year 6, all the staff were involved from the secretaries to Teachers and Teaching Assistants. It had lots of crazy colours and patterns…and a whole lot of fun!!
Bling Ear-ring Mosaic Project, Black Country – May 2015

Eton Porny, Eton London – July 2015
I was invited to be Artist in Residence at Eton Porny School. The pupils, age range from Reception to Year 4, had created a series of drawings of their local area. I designed a composite of their work for an external mosaic mural. Each panel measures 120cm high and 80cm wide. The mosaic is now a welcoming feature on arrival at the school’s main entrance. Park Hill Junior & Infant School – 2014
I have been commissioned to create a 6 ft high x 8 ft long mosaic that will face the front of the school. I will be using the school’s sound-bite “Bringing out the best in everyone” and also Year 3’s amazing drawings inspired by patterns from around the world. Visit my Facebook page to see more images of this fantastic project.
New Haven Assessment Unit, Princess of Wales Hospital, Bromsgrove – August 2013
I was invited to create a large mosaic at Princess of Wales Hospital, Bromsgrove. I worked with a group of 10 middle school students to create the ‘Sun & Moon Mosaic’. I facilitated patients and staff to complete one part of the mosaic. The project coordinator was keen for me to add my Garden Goddess flourish to the project. I used crockery from the 1970s that would be reminiscent to the patients and as a strong and positive talking point.
Walkers Heath Fields of Trust Commission – July 2013
I was commissioned to create a 2 x 6ft mosaic as a centre piece for Friends of Walkers Heath Park. It was installed for the opening celebration on Thurs 27 June 2013
