Hodge Hill College has invited again to create a mosaic commission inspired by the drawings by Year 7 & Year 8 pupils. During the design day, pupils created their own version of designs inspired by symbols and patterns from the cultural heritage of the school pupils. I have created composite designs from their work as the base for the mosaic panels. I am making four panels measuring 100 x 120 cm. Two based on Year 7’s work and two on Year 8’s. I am using external tiles, mirror, crockery, and glass on marine ply.
