Mixed media on canvas – 2003. This painting makes reference to the Vishuddha Chakra which is located in the throat and is linked to communication.
On the left of this painting stands Christ and on the right stands Krishna. Both are symbols of peace and love. In the centre is a woman who is in the yogic pose of the Tree of Life. This posture also relates to Christ who is known as the Tree of Life in Christian theology. Christ is holding his hands in the gesture or ‘mudra’ that points to heaven and earth. This symbolises charity and the power to grant a wish or fulfill a vow.
