In my happy place. 🥰
It’s been a busy week putting together four designs for a mosaic commission in Lye, Stourbridge.
I worked from drawings created by Wollescote and Rufford Primary Schools.
I created composite drawings from their work, combining a number of pupils’ work into one design.
The theme has been around the environment, community cohesion and togetherness.
Next week I will begin working with the pupils each Wednesday over the next three weeks. After which I will bring the panels home, finish them off, frame and grout them.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the pupils take to this artform. I hope they enjoy it as much as I do 🥳
